My wife and I were in Holbrook for a couple of days to visit the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert. We were very hungry after our first day of hiking and found this steakhouse a short walk from our hotel. We noted that many of the reviews said it was expensive, but I was craving a steak and went for it. The place was very clean and the service was excellent. We took advantage of that evening's special two salad bars for the price of one. The salad bar had a good selection of fresh veggies so we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the 16oz Porterhouse and my wife order the trout. All of the steaks are about the same price, the difference is the amount of meat you get. My steak was cooked exactly as I requested. It was tender and flavorful. My wife loved her trout which came butterflied.
This was less expensive than many other steakhouses I have been to, with the same or better quality and quantity of meat. -

Great food. Great service. Betty was our server. Very friendly. We came in late and no one else was in there. Salad bar was still fresh. Atmosphere is so unique. Betty gave us good information about the town. Highly recommend.

We just had a GREAT dinner! The steak, shrimp scampi, hot wings and salad bar were awesome. Ask for Betty, she's the BEST!

Always stop hear for dinner when in town. Pricey but dang goid steak and nice salad bar. Best rolls made fresh. Great atmosphere in the place. Yes it is a original stage stop at one time so yes old old restraint.

The atmosphere is a very western motif; the lot when it comes to horns, wood, wanted posters, etc. They only played older country/western music whilst we were dining. The waiter was friendly, and the steak was very fresh, and delicious. Also the veg, and potatoes were lovely as well. It is quite pricey however, the quality shows in the food. The kids hamburger meal came with steak fries, which were very tasty. The kids burger was fairly dull flavour-wise however a little one would enjoy it, I am sure (I wasn't very hungry).
